Welcome to Zoë’s World of Cakes! We’re thrilled you’re here. By browsing our site or placing an order, you’re agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions — which help protect both your experience and our business as we bring your cake vision to life.
Throughout these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Zoë’s World of Cakes. By using our site and services, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Booking & Payment Terms
To book a custom cake order, a nonrefundable deposit is required. No order is considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.
- Your deposit will be applied to your total order amount.
- Final payment is due no later than 14 days before your event.
- Failure to submit full payment by the due date may result in cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit.
2. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling
We understand that things can change. We’ve crafted a policy that offers a little flexibility while honoring the time and preparation that goes into each order:
- Cancellations made three (3) weeks or more before your event may apply up to 50% of the total payment (including deposit) toward a future cake order booked within 6 months.
- Cancellations less than three (3) weeks prior to your event are not eligible for credit or refund.
- All deposits are nonrefundable, regardless of timing.
We reserve the right to cancel an order due to non-payment or unresponsiveness. Any cancellations made by us (for reasons outside of your control) will be fully refunded.
3. Design & Creative Flexibility
We are passionate about delivering cakes that exceed expectations — but due to the nature of cake artistry:
- Design interpretations may vary slightly based on materials, structural integrity, and seasonal availability.
- Exact color matching is not guaranteed, though we’ll do our best to stay true to the vision.
- All custom elements are created with creative discretion to ensure the best result.
4. Pickup, Delivery & Liability
Once your cake leaves our possession (whether by delivery or pickup), Zoë’s World of Cakes is not responsible for any damage incurred during transport or setup.
- We provide handling instructions and highly recommend secure, flat transport (e.g., an air-conditioned vehicle with a flat surface).
- For events requiring delivery, please ensure someone is present at the venue to receive and sign for the cake.
5. Allergens & Kitchen Conditions
All of our cakes are made in a kitchen that processes common allergens, including but not limited to: eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, and nuts. While we can accommodate certain dietary preferences, we do not guarantee allergen-free products.
6. Pricing & Availability
All pricing is subject to change without notice. Cake availability is limited and based on schedule, complexity, and season. We reserve the right to:
- Adjust prices at any time,
- Decline or cancel orders based on availability,
- Limit orders during peak seasons or holidays.
7. Store Use & User Conduct
By using this website and/or purchasing a product or service, you agree that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age or have permission from a guardian,
- Will not use our services for illegal or unauthorized purposes,
- Will not violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
8. Comments, Submissions & Feedback
If you submit comments, reviews, photos, or suggestions, you grant us permission to use them (with or without credit) for marketing, testimonials, or promotional purposes. We value your feedback!
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted to this page, and your continued use of the site or our services implies acceptance of those changes.
